MDI is pleased to announce that Daniel Haqiqatjou has joined our team as a contributor and speaker.
Daniel Haqiqatjou was born in Houston, Texas. He attended Harvard University where he majored in Physics and minored in Philosophy. He completed a Masters degree in Philosophy at Tufts University, and is Director of Religion and Scientism for the Yaqeen Institute. Haqiqatjou also studies traditional Islamic sciences part-time. He writes and lectures on contemporary issues surrounding Muslims and Modernity, life and culture. He also writes critical analyses of the theories of biological Evolution.
Daniel joins MDI’s USA branch as a contributor and speaker, and we look forward to his future events.
Daniel Haqiqatjou has spoken at a number of universities, community centres and mosques in the U.S, on subjects related to Islam, Islamic ethos, mentality. Furthermore, he has lectured and written critiques of Secular Liberalism and Atheism, and has discussed on the topic of Muslims and their engagement with ‘Modernity’.
His collected writings can be viewed on his blog (MuslimSkeptic.com) where he regularly posts his work. Daniel has a facebook page and twitter account also. His contributions on the MDI site can be viewed here.
