One common claim made by missionaries while they often preach, is that the biblical God loves everybody. This claim is sort of an emotional argument that’s utilized to try and entice people towards their message.
The problem with this claim though is that it’s false, anyone who reads the Bible will see that the biblical God does not in fact love everybody.
In fact there’s not even a single verse in the Bible that says God loves everybody, and if we are wrong, we challenge anyone to produce the biblical verse that says God loves everybody.
With that said, let’s quote the actual verses from the Bible, that clearly demonstrate that God does not love everybody, and that he does in fact hate some people:
Psalm 5:1-6
Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. 4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. 5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
So the above verse from the Psalms says that God hates workers of inequity, it does not say that God hates the sin or the crime, it explicitly says that God hates the workers of inequity, not the work of inequity. This means God hates the people who commit sins and so on, the workers of inequity.
Another verse in the Bible that talks about God’s hate is the following:
Romans 9:13: As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Once again we see the God of the Bible hating someone. In fact as Paul the apostle wrote in Romans 9:13 ‘as it is written’, this means he is quoting the OT, so therefore let us get the direct quote from the OT:
Malachi 1:3: And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
So the God of the Bible hated Esau, but doesn’t he love everybody?
So does the biblical God love everybody? It’s a clear no from the few verses we have just read. The claim that the biblical God loves everybody is a myth, something that’s been made up by missionaries, such a teaching does not exist in the Bible.

That God is love does not mean that he loves everyone in the world, the righteous and the otherwise. That God loves the world does not mean he love everybody in the world, the righteous and the sinners.
The Bible clearly says that God hates all sinners:

Paul says that God bears the objects of His wrath, being fitted for destruction, with great patience (Romans 9:22).

The Bible describes different kinds of love that God has for the world. Only those with which God makes a covenant are the objects of his covenant love. This can’t be for everybody. It is only for the elect.
God has compassion on all men but it is not the highest form of the love of God:
Psalm 145:
8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.
