Subscribers to the work of MDI have kindly made an excerpt in malaysian subtitles of MDI’s Abdullah al Andalusi’s debate with Michael Boyd in Sydney, Australia on the topic ‘

The original debate, occured between Abdullah al Andalusi and Michael Boyd, a legal barrister and president of the Atheist Foundation of Australia (AFA), who appears regularly on Australian TV, and came to debate me and argue that Secular laws were fairer than Sharia law and should be the basis for all laws. The debate occurred in the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia on 18th September 2015.

After a good back and forth in the debate, a question was asked from the audience regarding why sharia law is not being implemented in the Muslim world. Abdullah’s answer led to the Atheist speaker making an amazing concession from his Secular position. It was a credit to his sincerity and shocked everyone (see excerpt of that moment here).

The Facebook and youtube versions were published on Malaysian social media platforms and have combined over 50,000 views.
