Case study number 4 from The Muslim Archives. ‘God as The Trinity’ is acknowledged as a mystery in the Christian faith. But why so? Could it be because it’s foundation is beyond logic, reason & rationality? Employing similar arguments, we present here 4 case studies to demonstrate if there are any inconsistencies or incoherences in the concept of Trinity or with those who profess to believe in it.

Philippians 2:
“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”
This scripture does not say that the Son divested himself of his divinity. “Emptied himself” is a bad translation in my view.

The gentlemen who was positioning the Trinity himself utterly emphasize. That before he himself became a Christian did not understand the Trinity. At ignition supernaturally once of acceptance of the redemption. That the Creator incarnating a body named Jesus sent for giving away for Humanity to have way of the crucifixion and resurrection in the way the Creator willed this to happen. Now we have the Creator speaking to Humanity in a new way dispensation duration which is still the Creator.( One God!) Eve and Adam (which is Humanity) collaborated with Satan so forth they were put out of the garden of Eden. God is unconditional love and has reconciled for Humanity not for Humanity sake. For Gods unconditional love. That all would know the Creator in free well relation-ship. The other gentlemen was being rhetorical. When trying to reason with the theoretical carnal mind it will not work. God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent. Not God in the box. Stop willing to be quadriplegic minded.
Paul said : “In the New Testament ………..the Father is God……. and………Jesus has a god, see for example, 2 Cor 1:3; 11.31: Col. 1.3; Eph. 1.3 etc. God is the God of Jesus, even of Jesus as Lord”
Yes, Jesus, as a man, has the Father as his God. This was the whole purpose of the incarnation. Otherwiise there could have been no mediator between man and God. There could have been no Great High Priest to offer himself up to God. God the Father is the God of Jesus ( the man ), exactly as you say. So we as Christians are in complete agreement with your statement, except the small g you used to designate this God. We place an entirely different interpretation upon it.
But Paul in the NT does not say Jesus ‘as a man’, he says Jesus as such has a god. You are reading much later Trinitarian theology back into Paul’s theology. In the jargon of biblical studies you are doing eisegesis rather than exegesis.
For Paul, God as such is a being to whom this doxology is due:
Jesus was not immortal nor invisible, he did not possess these attributes of deity.
Also mankind does not need a mediator between itself and God, as God freely forgives sinners who repent to him. This is the teaching of Jesus (and the Quran). See Luke 15 and the parable of the prodigal son for just one of many examples of this.
The Quran says:

To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Tarzon, why will you not deal with the teaching about the immortal/invisible God in 1 Timothy I quote? Because you do not agree with it. Because Jesus does not fit that definition. Jesus canot be God in the definition. And what about Jesus’ denial in Mark 10? You ignore it because it is embarrassing.
Your Bible is a library of books written by many different people over many centuries. It does not claim to be the Word of God. In many places there is teaching that denies or makes it imposible to believe that Jesus was Yahweh. Mark 10 is just 1 example. Would you like others? Or will you just dismiss them again?
To whom. Jesus is the Creator in the flesh. With a Holy Bible go-to the concordence and read all the references in content. Find the scripture where Jesus says I was before Abraham.
I don’t need to go to a concordance. I have read the Bible many times thank you. Before we rush off and ignore Jesus’ teaching in Mark 10 lets us deal with this passage:
As he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up and knelt before him, and asked him, ‘Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?’ Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.

The Creator is Jesus in the flesh. read the Holy Bible all in content. The Holy Bible is narrated in the will the way the Creator had it formed.

Mr Willams. Thank you for acknowledging that verses make up mark. When reading anything such as an encycolpedia,dictionary,books.They must be read in content. Other wise that would be insipid. Tweaking is not recognising the matter of content.
Mr Willams. Verses,Chapters,Books and so forth. So forth,Books,Chapers,Verses. AS you write Mark is made up of verses. Read all the verses in a book in content. Please no tweaking or quoting out of content. That would apply to any subject.
I have read all of Mark many times. I am quoting Jesus’ words accurately and in context. Are you going to continue to play games or will you actually focus on the passage in question?

Mr Willams. I do thank you for your debate. All of Jesus saying must be studied in whole. Nothing can be focused on in parts.
We didn’t have a debate because you refused point blank to discuss Jesus’ teaching. We can study all of Jesus teaching but we must start with the particulars, the actual words allegedly spoken by Jesus.
We can certainly discuss aspects of it. That’s what Christians do all the time. Your position is very strange.
Mr Willams. I do thank you for your debating. Read in Genesis 11: 7-9. Please do not just read only this verses read all of 11 and more.
Mr Willams. That would start with Genesis 1:1 in the beginning and staying in content all through the Holy Bible to revelations 22:7-21.

Those words are not used but I would claim that the teaching of the NT as a whole about Jesus, including Paul, justifies my statement. My statement is based upon the NT as a whole and what can be inferred from it, not just on selected verses as your theology is.
All your statements about Jesus are based on the presupposition that he does not possess a divine nature which is clearly contrary to the teaching of the NT.
